struggled to make ends meet each day, we ended each day with a smile, believing that hard work and perseverance and our passion for serving good food would eventually lead us to success. Over time, we developed a steady stream of regular patrons who loved our signature dishes like Hong Kong-style Pork Ribs, Caipo Toufu, Ya Fang, Sea Cucumber With Duck, and Salted Egg Crab. As word-of-mouth got out and attracted new customers, we also came out with new dishes like Scallop And Bagua With Banana roll, Green Chilli And Garlic Steamed Fish, Deep-fried Pig Trotters and Fish With Thai Sauce. By paying as much attention to presentation as to the taste of our food, we received lots of praise that our dishes were as good as any restaurant’s. By then, business was booming and it was getting harder to accommodate the crowds within the coffee shop premises that we shared with other stall holders, especially during the weekends and festive periods. Then, serendipitously in 2009, 10 years after we first opened the stall, an offer to take over the restaurant just opposite our stall came. It was an offer we couldn’t refuse, as we knew it was time to take our business to another level and provide even better service to our loyal patrons. In November of 2009, we start our operation at Block 412 on Bedok North Avenue 2. Here in this refurbished space, we are now able to accommodate 15 tables in the air- conditioned dining area and more than 20 tables at our non-air-conditioned dining area, making the restaurant more conducive for both family meals and corporate events. We want to thank all our loyal patrons for their continual support, allowing us to have the confidence to grow; our appreciation also goes out to our employees who work so hard for our restaurant. Without them, we wouldn’t have come this far. Here’s to many more years of delicious meals and booming business!
